ERASMUS is part of the Lifelong Learning Programme. Besides including the mobility of students and staff it also includes the possibility of developing Intensive Programmes (IP) between institutions of at least 3 European countries. These are 2 to 6 weeks courses subject to a certain theme.
IPS participation as a coordinator institutionICOWE - Interdisciplinary Course on Wellbeing and Health
This programme is focused on "Wellbeing and Health". It aims to explore issues from an international and interdisciplinary perspective based on sharing of knowledge from their own country. Also, it will create an opportunity to discuss cases based on the concept of client centred care. Participation in joint capacity building through the exchange of ideas in different professional fields within health and social care is expected.
For more information about this IP please contact Ms. Madalena Silva, from School of Health Care, through the email firstname.lastname@example.org.
EPICA - Towards a Consumer Citizenship Education - Summer Programme
The Intensive Programme EPICA is related with the development of an advanced study curriculum in consumption affairs, which may be an entire study cycle at the master’s level. This curriculum will be covered in a holistic approach gathering the global and individual citizen dimension in a practical way to be implemented in a postgraduate level, in the spirit and rules of the Bologna Process. This EPICA Programme allow the six involved institutions to share knowledge in the areas of citizenship, consumer and education with other European colleagues and experts in this field during a short period of time (two weeks), dealing with interdisciplinary fields which usually are not covered by the academic degrees.
